VIDEO/PHOTOS: All lanes of eastbound Interstate 90 closed east of Ellensburg Wednesday morning due to a crash involving 30 vehicles, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Collin Cumaravel. Eastbound I-90 is closed about five miles east of Ellensburg at milepost 115. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said traffic is being diverted at exit 115. A detour is available using local roads. A total of 30 vehicles, including 18 cars and 12 semi-trucks, were involved in the crash. The crash was first reported around 5:30 a.m. Cumaravel tweeted just after 8 a.m. that officials at the scene estimated the interstate could be closed for 10-12 hours. The WSDOT said the roadway would “likely” reopen sometime Wednesday evening.
