A small fire damaged an unoccupied apartment Tuesday in Wenatchee. The fire was reported at 2:26 p.m. on the 400 block of King Street and contained to the basement complex, said Wenatchee Valley Fire Department spokeswoman Kay McKellar. No one was home when the fire began. Crews arrived at 2:31 p.m. and the fire was extinguished at 2:37 p.m., McKellar said. The cause of fire is under investigation.
