PHOTO: The Milwaukee Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives released a photo Monday of a man suspected of burglarizing and setting fire to a Sherman Park liquor store following the unrest surrounding a fatal police shooting in the neighborhood. Investigators say the MJM Liquor Store, located at 2229 W. Fond du Lac Ave., was broken into, looted and set on fire at about 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 14. Witnesses say six cars pulled up to the store with three to four people inside each car. They say the individuals broke into the store, looted it, threw Molotov cocktails inside and fled. Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the photo.
