VIDEO: A very lucky kitten is safe after Sheboygan fire fighters pulled it from a sewer last night. Dispatch got a call from a resident around 7:45 pm Sunday night about meowing coming from a storm drain on 30th Street and North Avenue. Fire fighters from Station 4 responded to the call, and popped off the grate to have a look. Crews brought out a can of tuna to help convince the kitten to come out from down the pipe, and it took about 15 minutes before the firefighter was able to reach in and grab the kitten. The kitten is reportedly in good condition, and has been taken to the Sheboygan County Humane Society for evaluation and adoption.
