VIDEO: Closing arguments are being held Friday in the trial of a Milwaukee man accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend and her daughter and then setting the house on fire in order to cover up the crime. Patrick Fowler took the stand Thursday in his defense and told jurors that someone else stabbed the victims. "I was telling the truth saying I didn’t do it," Fowler, 33, said, adding that it was too late to save the pair when he found them. He said he fled to Arkansas, where he was arrested a few days after the March 2016 crime, because he feared for his own safety.
