Residents got out safely Tuesday morning when a fire broke out in their home, according to police. A caller reported a fire in a duplex in the 500 block of Chicago Avenue 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters and police responded to the scene and the fire was extinguished by 2 a.m., according to the Wausau Police Department. No one was injured in the fire, according to police.
