VIDEO: A fire is under control after flames were spotted shooting out of an attic at a Wausau home, according to the Wausau Fire Department. It happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of N. 4th Street. Residents were home at the time, but everyone escaped safely, according to officials. Firefighters had the blaze under control in a half hour, but remain on scene looking for hot spots, officials said. The Red Cross was called in to help out anyone who may have been displaced by the fire, according to the commander on the scene. The cause is unknown at this time.
