VIDEO: An afternoon house fire has left four people in search of a new home. The fire started just before noon on Sunday in the 800 block of Ridge Road in Green Bay. When firefighters arrived heavy smoke was coming from the home. Five additional units were called to the scene to help battle the blaze. Officials on scene say the cause of the fire was a smoking power line. Emergency responders add that there were challenges when trying to put the fire out. "Because of the building construction there were several split roofs and foyer areas the fire was traveling it took a little while for the guys to be able to open it up and get to the fire," says Drew Spielman with the Green Bay Fire Department. Red Cross did arrive on scene to help with those displaced.
