A horse barn in rural Eagle was destroyed by fire early this morning. The fire was reported around 1:15 AM at a residence off Draper Road south of Eagle. A 16 by 20 foot pole barn that housed two horses was on fire. The horses were evacuated unharmed from the barn and no individuals were injured. Firefighters were on the scene for about 2-and-a-half hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Eagle Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Mukwonago, North Prairie and Troy Center.
