One person is hurt and a home is heavily damaged after a fire in Eau Claire. The Eau Claire Fire Department says crews were called to the home on the 3300 block of Oakland Street just after 11 p.m. Tuesday night. When they arrived they saw flames coming from the attic and back of the house, but fortunately everyone inside had escaped safely. One person suffered minor burns. Firefighters were able to rescue a dog inside and put out the flames in about 20 minutes. They estimate there's about $75,000 in damage. There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
