Firefighters were called to a fire about 11:30 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 300 block of West 10th Street. No one was home, and a passerby reported the fire, Kaukauna Fire Department Lt. Joe Resch told USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. The fire appears to have started in a first-floor closet, and the home is likely a total loss. The cause is currently undetermined, but is presumed to be electrical. No one was injured in the fire. The sole resident was displaced. A portion of the street was blocked off as firefighters worked at the house, according to a USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin photographer at the scene.
