A Wisconsin Rapids firefighter has died following unspecified injuries suffered over the weekend. Jim Easton, a 22 year veteran of the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Dept., died unexpectedly on New Year's day, according to an announcement from the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial. No other information was provided. The WSFM made the announcement Tuesday via their Facebook page. Funeral arrangements are pending. Easton leaves behind a wife and two children.
