Mosinee Fire Chief Doug Jennings turned in his resignation Thursday after he was put on paid suspension, according to the city's mayor. The Mosinee Fire District suspended Jennings Wednesday evening, Mayor Brent Jacobson said. Jacobson said the suspension was a personnel issue and he could not give any information about it. Deputy Fire Chief Emily Dobeck turned in her resignation on Wednesday evening, Jacobson said. He would not say whether her resignation was related to Jennings' suspension on Wednesday. Fire Capt. Stephen Haas will be in charge of the Mosinee Fire District until an interim chief is selected, Jacobson said.
