A mobile home was destroyed by an early morning fire in Pleasant Prairie. No one was home when the fire began in the home, at 4202 75th St. in the City View Mobile Home Park, and no one was injured. David Wilkinson, assistant chief of the Pleasant Prairie Fire Department, said the fire call came in at 3:15 a.m. The Kenosha Fire Department initially responded to a call of the smell of smoke from an area east of the mobile home park and while investigating that call discovered the fire, he said. “Engine 2 from Kenosha arrived on the scene and found a fully-involved mobile home,” Wilkinson said. He said it took a little less than an hour to extinguish the fire.
