VIDEO: The Onalaska Fire Department responded to two house fires shortly after 7 p.m., Saturday. Firefighters were called to 203 14th Avenue in Onalaska for a garage that was on fire. The fire spread from the garage to the house, extending to a second house next door. No one was hurt but both houses are now uninhabitable. According to firefighters, they believe no one was living in the house where the fire started. The Onalaska, Campbell and La Crosse fire departments all responded to the fire. Red Cross was also on scene to help find arrangements for those affected. The incident is under investigation.
