VIDEO: A 60-year-old Oshkosh man has died after a two-vehicle crash involving a front-loader Tuesday evening. Both the front-loader and an unspecified vehicle were heading north on South Washburn Street just before 5:30 p.m. when the vehicle failed to stop and rear-ended the front-loader, according to Oshkosh police. The vehicle flipped as a result of the crash, and emergency responders tried saving the driver's life, according to police. He was then taken to a local hospital where he died. The driver of the front-loader was not injured, according to police. South Washburn Street was closed from Ripple Road to Fisk Avenue for over four hours as the department's crash team investigated the scene, police said. Weather and alcohol don't appear to be factors in the crash.
