Three homes in a residential neighborhood suffered damage early Thursday morning after they were struck by a semi tractor trailer. The incident happened about 1 a.m. in the 4900 block of Annabelle Court, according to the South Area Fire District. Police and fire crews arrived at the scene and determined that a semi was traveling westbound on State 29 when it left the roadway into a neighborhood and struck three homes, the fire department said. The houses struck by the semi all suffered significant damage. One person suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident, according to the fire department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by police.
