A three stall unattached garage is a total loss after a fire late Wednesday night.
Just before 11:30 p.m., fire crews were called to the scene at 1163 Eastman Ave., according to a press release from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived they found the garage fully engulfed in flames, the fire department said. Five people who were in a home 15 feet away at the time were able to quickly evacuate.
The fire department said crews were able to knock down the flames quickly and keep them from spreading to the home. The garage and its contents are considered a total loss.
Preliminary investigations done by fire marshals put the damage estimate at around $25,000, the fire department said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
