At 2:30 a.m. on Thursday an accident occurred involving a potato truck and a minivan in the Township of Oasis.
The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting the accident had occurred near the intersection of County Road J and County Road P.
Upon arrival, the driver of the minivan was pronounced dead and neither vehicle had passengers. The incident is still under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office. Assissting agencies were: Waushara County EMS, Plainfield Fire Department, Almond Fire Department and Wild Rose Fire Department.
