Over a dozen emergency crews assisted with a Door County house fire Sunday.
The Egg Harbor Fire Department said crews responded to a grass fire that spread to a home at 6072 Windsong Bluff Drive around 10 a.m.
Firefighters saw flames coming from the second story of the home.
“Fire crews made an aggressive fire attack until water supply ran low,” Chief Justin MacDonald posted on social media. Crews laid 2,400 feet of large diameter hose from Reynolds Road to the fire. We first alerted you Reynolds Road was closed from Townline Road to Carlsville Road.
Firefighters got flames under control at 12:09 p.m.
The fire was caused by a burn barrel used to burn trash.
