Sheboygan County Communities to Receive Another Round of ARPA Funding for EMS Providers

Governor Tony Evers has announced that even more ARPA funding is being distributed to communities around the state. Sheboygan County communities will be getting nearly $560,000 which is to be used for emergency services, specifically EMS. The largest chunk of that money will be going to the City of Sheboygan Fire Department, which is slated to get over $116,000. The Town of Scott Emergency Medical Responders, Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Squad, and Adell First Responders will all be getting over $80,000, Orange Cross Ambulance is getting over $61,000, Elkhart Lake First Responders are getting $55,000, the Cedar Grove, Town of Sheboygan Falls, and Howards Grove Fire Departments’ First Responders will get between $28,00 and $32,000.
