VIDEO: The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says 3 adults and 3 children are out of their home after a fire on the city’s west side overnight Thursday. The fire in the two-story home was reportedly shortly before 4:30 a.m. on the 800-block of Division St. They found the fire burning in the ceiling between the first and second floors. Our crew on the scene could see smoke coming from the house and saw firefighters using a ladder to climb in a window. No flames were visible from the outside when we were there. It took about 50 minutes with an aggressive fire attack to get access and extinguish the fire, the GBMFD said. Everyone got themselves safely out of the house and no one was hurt. The fire department estimates the damage at $60,000, but what caused the fire is still under investigation.
