A woman's body was found in the charred remnants of a mobile home fire Wednesday morning in Berkeley County, W.Va.
Chief Marty Roberts of the Baker Heights Volunteer Fire Department said the blaze was reported shortly before 4 a.m. at 1657 Douglas Grove Road.
He said about 75 percent of the structure was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
"There were four people in that mobile home," Roberts said. "Three of them got out."
Roberts declined to release the name of the woman whose body was found. He said she was taken to Morgantown for an autopsy.
The victim's boyfriend, and the victim's son and his girlfriend also were in the mobile home at the time of the fire, Roberts said.
He added the American Red Cross was called to help the survivors.
