State investigators still looking for suspects in Nicholas County arson case

The state Fire Marshal’s Office continues its investigation into the arson of multiple structures in Nicholas County. According to the office, two homes and a mobile home trailer on Whipperwill Road in Summersville were destroyed on July 9. Another open structure on the property was damaged. Investigators said an unknown vehicle was on the property a couple of days before the fire. The vehicle is described as a later model Chevrolet pickup truck that is burgundy or maroon with a black primer hood. Authorities described the driver as a heavy-set man around 60 years old, and a passenger as a slim-built person with no teeth, Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
