Charleston fire crews responded to an abandoned structure fire on Washington Street West around 4:30 Wednesday morning. The boarded up home was just blocks away from the CFD West Side station. No one was found in the structure and no injuries were reported. The cause of the flames is still unknown, but investigators were working on the scene.
