No one was injured in the house fire at 2507 Nash St. around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Parkersburg Fire Chief Jason Matthews said.
Matthews said the fire was burning on the left side of the house inside a bedroom. The cause is still under investigation.
“It took 10 minuets to get the fire under control, and then another 10-15 minutes to put out all the hot spots,” he said. No one was home at the time of the fire.
Matthews estimated the damage at $25,000.
Parkersburg Police Department and Saint Joseph’s Ambulance service also responded to the fire along with the fire department.
