No one was injured in the house fire at 2507 Nash St. around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Parkersburg Fire Chief Jason Matthews said. Matthews said the fire was burning on the left side of the house inside a bedroom. The cause is still under investigation. “It took 10 minuets to get the fire under control, and then another 10-15 minutes to put out all the hot spots,” he said. No one was home at the time of the fire. Matthews estimated the damage at $25,000.
