Huntington man who claimed he set school bus on fire to keep warm facing charges

Huntington police said a man who claimed he set a school bus on fire to get warm is facing charges. Kendrick G. Brunson, 40, of Huntington is charged with third-degree arson and entry of an automobile, according to criminal complaints from the Cabell County Magistrate Court. Police said it happened about 6 a.m. Monday at Huntington East Middle School. Police said the suspect broke into a school bus and started a fire by the emergency exit. Police said he claimed to start the fire because he was cold and wanted to get warm. The fire melted and damaged the floor to the bus.
