PHOTO: Emergency crews rescued a man who was stuck inside of a drain pipe for several hours. It happened late Tuesday morning at Jardin Road and Devonshire Drive in Pinch, West Virginia. According to first responders at the scene, the man was stuck for about three hours. He was able to call 911 at one point, but the phone died. Investigators were able to use a method called grid searching to find the man. Firefighters from the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department and Pinch Volunteer Fire Department responded. They used a rope to send two firefighters down into the drain pipe to monitor air quality. Then, they brought the man up to the surface in a basket.
