An early morning fire destroyed a house in Rumble on Tuesday morning.
According to Racine Volunteer Fire Chief George Hill, the structure was fully ablaze when they arrived.
"It was fully involved," he said. "It was a vacant home with no utilities on it and we've turned it over to the state fire marshal for an investigation."
The fire, which began at approximately 7:20 a.m. was secured within four minutes and was located on a property near the former Larzo's Convenience Store in the small unincorporated community of Rumble, near Ashford.
"We used the water supply from American Water (hydrant) and we were able to knock it down pretty quick with mutual aid from the Danville Fire Department."
The Boone County Ambulance Authority also responded to the scene and no injuries were reported
