Two people were taken to the hospital after their car hit a power pole. It happened around 8 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Cabin Creek Road. Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office say a man and woman were traveling on Cabin Creek Road when they veered to the right and struck a utility pole. Investigators say their injuries were minor. No other information has been released.
