Clarksburg firefighters responded to a house fire on East Pike Street Sunday afternoon. They received the call about the fire just after 3:40 p.m.. Clarksburg Fire Chief, Rick Scott, said the fire started on the second floor and in the attic of a house on East Pike Street. A vacant house next door was exposed to the fire and firefighters responded to it immediately. There were no reported injuries and no one was transported. "We are still investigating at this time," Scott said. The fire has been put out.
