Crews say a homeowner managed to get out of her house that caught fire Wednesday morning in the Barboursville area. Barboursville Fire Deputy Chief Andrew Frazier said the fire started in a furnace unit under the home and went up through the bathroom and into a hallway. The fire was reported just before 8:15 a.m. at Southview Lane and Spring Drive in the West Pea Ridge area of Barboursville. No one was hurt. The house sustained moderate damage. Crews from Barboursville, Green Valley and Ohio River Road fire departments responded to the scene.
