Chief Nate Trauernicht

The Board of Directors of the Western Fire Chiefs Association is endorsing Chief Nate Trauernicht in the IAFC’s race for Second Vice President and urge IAFC members to also support his candidacy.  Chief Trauernicht, is a proven leader who in his term as Vice President and President for the California Fire Chiefs, brought people together to solve problems and focused the association’s energy on broader solutions rather than fragmenting our industry.  Chief Trauernicht has participated on the national level on a number of key fire service initiatives and distinguished himself amongst his peers.  As President of the association, I am happy to articulate the support of our board and express our confidence that Chief Trauernicht would continue his legacy of leadership as Vice President for the IAFC.  I hope you will join us in supporting Chief “T”.
