Attend the National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner to Make a Difference for the Fire Service.

Each day, the halls of Congress are filled with citizens representing various special interest groups. They are en route to meetings with members of Congress or their staff to discuss specific issues. It is part of the legislative process…a very important part. On April 24th and 25th, fire service officials from across the country will be in Washington, DC to do the same thing. If we want Congress to hear our message about the need for continued support for federal fire programs, we need a large turnout.

The National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner is hosted each year by the Congressional Fire Services Institute. It is our fundraising program that enable us to advocate for federal programs that benefit our nation’s first responders. CFSI is the organization that works directly with the leaders of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus who work in the spirit of bipartisanship to advance your issues. And CFSI is the organization that provides the forum where the national organizations can develop consensus on issues so the fire service can deliver a unified message on Capitol Hill.

In addition to being a fundraiser, this program is a unique learning experience for fire service officials. Attendees will have opportunities to attend seminars featuring distinguished fire service officials who will cover a broad range of current public safety issues. They’ll spend time on Capitol Hill delivering important messages about supporting federal legislation and programs that benefit the fire service. And they will come together at the conclusion of the event to celebrate the men and women of our nation’s fire and emergency services.

Please join your peers in Washington, DC on April 24th and 25th and attend the 31st Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner Program. We need your support.
