Monroe County officials are battling a warehouse fire on Adams St. behind NAPA Auto Parts, the county's Emergency Management Agency director Matt Perry said. Perry said there are plastics in the building and that the fire is currently smoldering. Crews are expected to be on the scene for several hours, he added. Forsyth fire chief David Herndon said they got the call around 8:13 p.m. The damage is located on side of the building and didn't cause a total loss to the business, he added.
