Popular Seafood restaurant "The Saucy Shrimp," just outside of Statesboro, was damaged after a fire.
According to Grice Connect, the fire happened shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday.
When Bulloch County deputies arrived, they reported seeing smoke and requested that the Statesboro and Bulloch Fire Departments go to the restaurant.
Statesboro Fire arrived on the scene and requested additional engines and firefighters to help battle the fire.
An eyewitness shared that heavy fire was visible from the front dining room windows within minutes of the first engine arriving.
Bulloch County EMS responded as a precaution, but no injuries were reported. Statesboro Fire Investigators will conduct a routine cause and origin investigation.
