Evanston fire units are on the scene of a fire in a large apartment building at 635 Sherman Ave. First units on the scene saw flames coming from a second floor apartment and called for fire crews from neighboring communities to respond to the scene. The fire spread from the second to the third floor on the alley end of the apartment building that occupies the northeast corner of Sherman Avenue and Reba Place. The apartment building is owned by the Reba Place Fellowship.
