An Arlington Heights man and former part-time firefighter pleaded guilty to charges stemming from accusations that he hid a video camera in a Northfield fire station's shower, the Daily Herald reports.
Edward T. Panicko, 59, entered a guilty plea to unlawful video recording Wednesday as part of a deal with prosecutors, the report stated. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge, 100 hours of community service and fined $484, the report added.
Panicko, a retired Glenview firefighter, turned himself in to police in July of 2016 after he resigned from the Northfield Fire Department following misconduct accusations from a fellow firefighter, the Chicago Tribune reported at the time.
