The 15th annual Cumberland County Fire and EMS Memorial Service is scheduled Saturday at 11 a.m. on the campus of Fayetteville Technical Community College.
The service honors Fayetteville and Cumberland County firefighters and EMS workers who have died in the line of duty, according to a release.
Speaking at the service will be Kevin Davis, Eastern Region director for the N.C. Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
Students from the Cumberland County Schools Fire Academy will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the names of those who have died in the line of duty will be read.
The service, which is open to the public, will be held at the Fire and EMS Memorial at 2201 Hull Road, next to Cumberland Hall.
