A mother and her two children were killed Wednesday night in a trailer fire in Northampton County, North Carolina.
Chief Albert Vann with the Conway Volunteer Fire Department says a single wide trailer off of U.S. Route 258, near Pinetops Road, caught fire shortly before midnight. The scene of the fire is just south of Mufreesboro.
Vann says the fire was fully involved when crews arrived, and that three people were trapped inside.
