A Hummer sports utility vehicle hit a home and transformer, which caused a fire, Tuesday afternoon. Neighbors Angel Jones and David Rodriguez saw the wreck in the 3000 block of Nontucket Lane off of Legion Road near Hope Mills. The impact of the wreck broke wood on the corner of the house and caused the transformer next to the house to ignite.
