Firefighters had to brave the sub-freezing conditions early Thursday morning as they fought heavy flames at a northeast Charlotte home.Crews responded around 4:15 a.m. to the home on Treeline Place, off The Plaza, and reported flames shooting from the roof.Officials said it took 27 firefighters roughly 25 minutes to get the fire under control. A woman was inside when the flames broke out but she was not hurt, firefighters said.
