Charlotte firefighters rescued two workers who were apparently hanging from a building in uptown. The fire department has confirmed that a "high angle rescue" was taking place at 323 W Stonewall St. Thursday afternoon and that several units responded to the scene. A witness at the scene told FOX 46 they believe a construction worker fell from the building and is dangling from the scaffolding. Firefighters say the workers were lowered to safety after a short time, and the incident is under control. MEDIC has taken both men to the hospital. One of them is being treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.
