Firefighters battled 2 house fires that broke out Thursday evening, officials said.The first fire was reported around 8:20 p.m. on the 15000 block of S Lammer Road in Oregon City, Clackamas Fire District #1 said.
Firefighters who arrived on the scene found the residents safely outside.
Flames were reportedly outside the house near a shop area, moving toward 2 large fuel tanks. Crews battled the blaze as the tanks were venting, which allowed heated gasses to escape, fire officials said.
The fire was quickly put out and no one was injured.
