According to the Lebanon Fire District, a fire heavily damaged a workshop and home early Sunday morning. Fire crews responded to a call of a house fire at 2:50 a.m. on Vaughan Lane. Firefighters say they battled the bulk of the flames in the workshop, but the fire spread to the main house by travelling beneath the breezeway roof structure. The fire district says both structures sustained heavy damage and three vehicles were destroyed. Investigators later determined the 2-alarm fire was caused by a failure in the components of the hot tub on the back patio. A total of 11 units from four jurisdictions responded.
