First responders are tending to "multiple patients" following an incident at Southwest Sixth Avenue and Hall Street in downtown Portland.
Christopher Bond told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he was nearly hit by a blue vehicle and said the driver "gunned the motor" as it sped toward him after already hitting three people.
Several witnesses say the vehicle was a blue, mid-sized SUV.
Chris Tinnin, who works at Portland_State heard the crash, came down from his office at corner of Sixth and Montgomery and saw at least two females on the ground.
“I heard screaming,” he said.
Police have blocked the intersection of Sixth and Montgomery. Two police cruisers and four Portland Fire and Rescue vehicles are on the scene, including three ladder trucks.
