$5,936.76 – $7,428.03 per month plus additional paramedic, longevity and education pay. Laterals may qualify for a higher starting step depending on years of experience.

The City of Mukilteo is accepting applications for the position of Fire Fighter/Paramedic, both Lateral and Entry. This recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill a current vacancy. The Mukilteo Fire Department is seeking self-motivated, professional Fire Fighter/Paramedics to become a part of our organization. Our vision is Excellence in Public Service. The fire department operates two fire stations using a 48/96 shift schedule and provides service to the city as well as surrounding automatic aid partners. The department provides fire protection, prevention and education, and ALS ambulance transport services and responds to 2,600 calls annually.
Following application review, qualified applicants with complete applications may be invited to the interview process. Selection plan includes application screening, a one-day interview process which may include manipulative skills assessments and oral board.
