The Firefighter Recruit (Paramedic) is a non-sworn trainee position that receives paramedic training and basic instruction in the areas of firefighter work in the protection of life and property. Completion of a certified Paramedic program is required. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be active on the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center's (FCTC) Statewide Eligibility List (SEL) by the final filing date of January 23, 2022 and no earlier than January 23, 2021. Applicants must be of good moral character and be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation. Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment.
