Single Role Paramedic

A Single-Role Paramedic is a newly-created position that will serve as part of the coordinated City InRESPONSE team, participating in calls for service for mental health, homeless advocacy, social services, and provide basic and advanced life support medical care and treatment, including Advanced Life Support (ALS) care and transport to non-emergency facilities. 

Working under the direct supervision of the EMS Captain assigned to inResponse and the overall direction of the Operations Division, Single-Role Paramedics will work directly with Sonoma County Mobile Support Team (MST), Catholic Charities Homeless Outreach Service Team (HOST), and Buckelew Programs. They'll make critical decisions that impact the safety, well being, or life of patients and members of the City in stressful situations.
