Job Announcement: Umatilla County Fire District #1 is currently hiring for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic and Firefighter/EMT. We are currently hiring 1 position immediately and we have applied for a SAFER grant that would allow us to hire 9 positions. We will be requesting the applicants to apply through the National Testing Network where they will complete the FireTEAM, CPAT and PHQ. Starting on January 1, 2023 UCFD #1 will be going to a 4 shift schedule. Employees will work a 24 hours on/72 hours off schedule with 15 debit days a year.
